Valentina Chistova, owner of Aquamedica Salon and Day Spa in Pier Village has felt economic pinch for the past year. She said she has survived the country’s economy by offering valuable deals and money saving specials for her guests. Commenting on the creation of the Spa Shop and Dine program, Chistova said, “We have already been offering great deals to our clients. Despite the recession, we still want them to be able to come and enjoy our services. As we became successful with our own programs, we decided it made sense to ask other Pier Village businesses to participate with us. It is a win-win situation for all involved.”
Spa, Shop and Dine officially launched in June with no end date in mind. “If the program is a success, I see no reason why we will stop,” said Chistova. “We would love to continue the program all year round.”
